Georgia Kombou

Born in Limassol, Cyprus, Georgia Kombou started her life in music at the age of nine when she began piano and theory lessons at the Greek Conservatory of Limassol. Her artistic flair and love of music became even more apparent when during elementary school she began to develop her interest in poetry.

While still a small child, her father noticed her great interest in musical instruments – she used to hold a sewing needle and a matchstick pretending to play the mandolin – and offered her a bouzouki. Georgia then began to appear on many television and radio broadcasts showing her talent.
